CASA is an outreach office of Family Support Center located on the UW-Eau Claire campus in order to be directly accessible to students and their loved ones. CASA is a support service that provides free and confidential resources for survivors of violence. Bolton Refuge House offers a variety of services to assist people who have been affected by domestic violence, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and/or stalking on their journey to physical and emotional safety. Services include supportive listening, personal advocacy support groups for adults and children, legal advocacy, court accompaniment, SANE advocacy, referrals to community resources, emergency shelter, transitional housing, and community education. ECAHMAA's mission is to empower people, advance cultures, and enhance the quality of life for Chippewa Valley communities by promoting relationships of trust, safety, and a sense of belonging. We offer a diverse range of culturally relevant programs, resources, and events that cater to the unique needs of the Hmong community. Our initiatives encompass advocacy for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and crime as well as programs to support our youth, elders, and LGBTQ+. Other services we provide are affordable housing, food pantries, language access, and community engagement. Through strategic partnerships and community collaborations, ECAHMAA continues to be a driving force in promoting cross-cultural appreciation, bridging gaps, and establishing a stronger sense of belonging for the Hmong community.
